Another storm system is moving through the Ottawa area today, with lake-effect enhancement once again favoring Orléans. While much of the city will see lighter amounts, we’re expecting around 5 cm locally.
The main system is expected to wrap up around 5:00 p.m., however there remains the potential for additional lake-effect streamers to linger into the evening, which could add localized accumulation.
Our crews are scheduled as follows:
-
Operators will begin a at 4:00 p.m.
-
Shovel teams will begin at 5:00 p.m., once most of the snow has fallen.
We’ll continue monitoring conditions and adjust our plan if those streamers become more persistent.
Stay safe and warm,
The Worry Free Team
